Google Base bietet Payment Option - Der Einstieg von Google in den E-Commerce und Payment Markt!?

Dass Google seinen eigenen Payment Dienst anbieten will und Google Base entsprechend "monetarisieren" möchte, wenn auch auf indirekte Art, ist kein Geheimnis mehr. Folgende E-Mail von Google (ich hatte mich als Interesent für diesen Dienst mit mehreren E-Mail Accounts registriert;-) läßt darauf schließen, dass dieser Dienst  bald auch offiziell gelauncht wird. Damit könnte Google zu einem der größten E-Commerce-Anbieter und auch Payment Anbieter werden.

Interessant ist die Transaktionsgebühren-Struktur:
2.5% Transaktionsgebühren sowie 0,25 US Cent pro Transaktion. Für Chargebacks fallen 10$ an. Für Kreditkartentransaktionen eine durchaus attraktive Gebührenstruktur die unter dem Niveau von PayPal liegt.
